We are a Non-Denominal Church in Dalton, Ohio's heartland. The average Sunday morning attendance is currently 105. This is an older congregation with several young families.
We believe in one God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, eternally existing in three persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and who lived a sinless life as a man. He was crucified for our sins and rose on the third day. He ascended into Heaven, where He reigns today at the right hand of the Father. We believe that he is coming again; personally, visibly and soon, to judge all people.
We believe in the Holy Spirit; who convicts the world of sin, reveals righteousness, and proclaims the coming judgment. He baptizes believers in Christ, dwells in them and empowers them for Christian living and service.
We believe Satan exists and is working in this world to destroy people’s souls. In the end His destruction is certain through Jesus Christ who also gives us the power to resist him.
We believe man was created in the image of God, that he fell into sin and therefore, is not deserving of fellowship with God and is in need of God’s salvation.
We believe that salvation is an undeserved gift from God, coming only through Jesus Christ who died that our sins may be forgiven and removed. If we believe in Christ, our soul shall never die, and we will live with Him forever.
We believe the true church is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers of the present age. When we depend on, encourage, love, accept, and forgive each other and rely solely on our faith in God as our way of life, we become an ambassador for Christ in this world. Our head is Jesus Christ and our guides are the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.
We believe the written Word of God to be our guide to direct our faith and life. Given in human words in history, the scriptures of both Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, authoritative, trustworthy, and true in every respect. As an expression of grateful love to God, we believe and obey the scriptures for the written word reveals to us Jesus Christ the Living Word.
