As the Worship & Youth Pastor at our Kinsman Campus, your mission is to lead people of all ages to follow Jesus together through dynamic worship and intentional discipleship of youth. You will oversee both the weekly worship services and youth ministry for grades 6-12. This position calls for a passionate and multi-gifted leader who can pastor both teams and students, shepherd volunteers, and coordinate logistics and communication effectively.
You’ll partner with campus and central leadership to create a life-giving culture in worship and youth ministry that aligns with the mission of Rock of Grace. As a full-time role, this position offers professional development through coaching and mentoring, and it includes housing in a fully furnished parsonage with all utilities paid.
Job Responsibilities Overview
Worship Ministry Leadership (15-20 hours per week)
Plan and prepare for weekly worship services and rehearsals.
Select songs and arrange musical elements that allow for Spirit-led worship.
Develop and invest in volunteer worship teams through training and mentorship.
Coordinate worship flow and tech needs with the Campus Pastor and Tech Director.
Maintain consistent communication and vision alignment with the Worship Director.
Youth Ministry Leadership (15-20 hours per week)
Plan and lead weekly youth services, discipleship nights, and outreach events.
Disciple students (grades 6–12) through teaching, mentoring, and relational ministry.
Lead youth events including camps, retreats, and district/network events. OMN Camp, Fine Arts, and Reach are required.
Equip and empower youth volunteers and student leaders.
Coordinate with the NextGen Director for curriculum, training, and multi-campus unity.
General Ministry Responsibilities (5-10 hours per week)
Participate actively in campus services, special events, leadership nights, and staff-wide gatherings.
Maintain strong communication with the Campus Pastor to ensure culture, care, and alignment.
Support the mission of the church through attendance, leadership, and personal growth.
Cultivate meaningful relationships with families, volunteers, and the community.
Job Skills & Qualifications
Demonstrated spiritual maturity and alignment with Assemblies of God doctrine.
Strong leadership, pastoral care, and team-building experience.
Proficiency in leading worship from guitar or keyboard.
Clear and engaging communicator with both youth and adults.
Organizational strength in scheduling, planning, and communication.
Preferred
AA or BA in Worship, Youth Ministry, or a related field.
Credentialed (or pursuing credentials) with the Assemblies of God.
2+ years of experience in youth or worship ministry.
Familiarity with Planning Center Online and Google Workspace.
Working knowledge of music theory and the Nashville Number System.
Compensation Package
Full-Time, Exempt
$25,000 salary annually + Parsonage
Includes housing in a 5-bedroom, 3-bath parsonage with utilities paid
